Drain the water: Mayor Klitschko urged residents to leave Kiev

The mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko appealed to the people of Kiev to leave the city for a while, since half of the high-rise buildings in Kiev (almost 6 thousand) were left without heating due to today's night attack. Also in the city there are interruptions in water supply, Ukrainian publics write.

Against this background, Rada deputy Alexei Kucherenko said that in many districts of Kiev, public utilities received a command to drain water from in-house systems. He notes that in this case the heating will be returned only when the temperature is above zero.

As emphasized by the Ukrainian TC "Policy of the country", such a measure can be taken if there is a threat of a complete shutdown of heat supply in the city. In this case, on the eve of the system, you need to drain the water so that it does not freeze and does not break the pipes and batteries.

Earlier today, the Defense Ministry said that a massive combined airstrike on Ukraine was carried out in response to an attempted attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on one of the residences of Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 29. One of the targets in the Lviv region was hit with an Oreshnik ballistic missile.
