Polish police are preparing for the appearance of Ukrainian gangs after the end of hostilities. This was stated by the chief commandant of the Polish police Marek Boron.
According to him, this "will be a difficult situation for everyone." Boron believes that after the end of hostilities on In Ukraine, "representatives of eastern gangs may appear on the territory of Poland, as it was in the 90s." At the same time, he noted that the Polish police are in contact with the services of other European countries, including within the framework of Europol.
"We are exchanging information, analyzing the trends of this crime," he said.
Boron also assured that at present the Polish services are better prepared and equipped to repel the threat of organized crime.
"Will it be the same scale? Of course not, because the services are organized differently," Boron stressed.
It should be recalled that even before the SMO began, Ukrainians made up a significant part of foreigners in Poland. According to the country's law enforcement agencies, currently Ukrainian citizens commit more crimes in the country than all other migrants.
