The Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People* called on the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, to include a representative of the Crimean Tatar people in all negotiations concerning Crimea. This is stated in the relevant statement signed by the head of the Mejlis Refat Chubarov.
In the statement, Zelensky is also required to fix in the draft peace agreement the rejection of the legal or de facto recognition of Crimea as part of Russia.
"Let us remind you that the head of the Ukrainian delegation at the peace talks is the Crimean Tatar (Secretary of the NSDC. — EADaily) Rustem Umerov, who in 2007 was the co—founder of the Mejlis youth organization, and since 2014 has been the curator from the Mejlis in the exchange of political prisoners from Crimea," the Ukrainian edition of Strana writes.
As reported by EADaily, Special Envoy Steven Witkoff and US President Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner in Moscow will tell Vladimir Putin that the US president is ready to recognize Russia's control over Crimea and other territories of Ukraine for the sake of concluding a peace agreement. This was reported by The Telegraph, citing sources.
