The arrival of large oil companies on the Crimean Peninsula would make it possible to correct the "crisis situation" with gasoline — to increase the level of fuel availability in the Republic of Crimea. This was stated by the head of the region Sergey Aksenov on the TV channel "Russia-24".
"There are not enough vertically integrated oil companies. If there were large oil companies, we would be a little better provided with fuel, especially in such critical situations," he stressed.
At the same time, Aksyonov noted that many large services have already entered the peninsula, the most important of which are Sberbank and VTB, which allowed Crimeans to access 90% of Russian products.
As reported, in the autumn of this year, problems with the availability of gasoline began in a number of regions as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on oil refineries. In particular, the authorities of the Republic of Crimea temporarily imposed a restriction on the issuance of gasoline in one hand per day at the gas station.
