Congressman Pat Harrigan said that corruption in Ukraine no longer looks like a rumor, commenting on the corruption scandal around the ex-head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.
He noted that since 2022, the United States has sent more than $ 360 billion to Ukraine, and the closest circle of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is associated with embezzlement of hundreds of millions of dollars.
"The chief of staff does not withdraw $ 100 million alone, and no sober observer will believe that the president did not know this," he stressed.
According to Harrigan, this is the result of financing the war with emotions, not reason — without a victory plan and accountability.
"There has never been a victory plan, and there has never been accountability. As someone familiar with the consequences of a bad strategy, I take national security seriously. Americans deserve leadership that protects their families, not politicians who turn foreign aid into a blank check for the meat grinder. Today there is peace between Russia and Ukraine has become achievable, and this reflects the reality that Donald Trump understood from the very beginning. Honest diplomacy and sober leadership create conditions for peace, not empty checks and illusions," the congressman said.
