More than ten deputies intend to leave the Servant of the People party faction in the Verkhovna Rada, and its head Damid Arakhamia wants to become speaker of parliament. This was reported on social networks by ex-MP Borislav Bereza, who is close to ex-President Petro Poroshenko.
According to Bereza, the withdrawal of deputies from the faction will be the beginning of the loss of control by the head of the presidential office, Andrei Ermak, of control over the Rada and Arakhamia's first step on the way to the speaker's chair.
"Evil tongues on Bankova Street say that there is hysteria in the OP (office of the president). Due to the fact that in the near future from "Servants of the People“ plan to leave more than 10 deputies. It will be together with Arahamiya or without it, but in OP already sincerely hate Brown (Arahamii's nickname is David Brown) and call… They call him filthy. Because friends of Carlson and Ali-Baba (nicknames of Timur Mindich and Ermak. — EADaily) understand that this is actually the beginning of an attempt to get rid of control BP Yermak and return the subjectivity to the parliament. And also the beginning of Arakhamia's path to the post of speaker of the Verkhovna Rada," writes Bereza.
In his opinion, it is Arakhamiya, as the speaker of the Rada, who can sign a peace treaty with Russia.
As EADaily reported, the Ukrainian conflict will end when Crimea is returned to Ukraine. This was stated by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk at a joint press conference with the speaker of the Riksdag of Sweden Andreas Norlen, Ukrinform reports.
