Observer: The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost the general battle in the Pokrovsk area

The general battle, which lasted almost several months in the area of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) Donetsk People's Republic, won by the Russian side.

One of the stages of the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was the liberation by the Russian military of the village of Shakhovo to the north of the "Pokrovskaya funnel". This urban-type settlement has changed hands several times. The battles for him were fought by units of several brigades on both sides.

The fact is that the Ukrainian command had high hopes for a blow from Shakhovo, planning to make a deep breakthrough into the rear of the Russian 51st army.

In this case, the Russian units would have to leave Nikanorovka and Rodninskoe, which would mean scrapping the outer ring of the encirclement of the Ukrainian Pokrovsko-Mirnograd grouping.

Now this threat has been removed, the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Mirnograd has lost hope for a blockade, and the military command of the Kiev regime has lost hope for a favorable outcome of the battle as a whole.

"The reserves that were thrown here by Kiev did not help. Partly they were defeated, and partly today they are being forcibly transferred to the south to cover Zaporozhye from the advancing Russian armies,"the expert concluded.
