"We have more than 500 thousand dead soldiers, the same number of wounded… I believe that these figures may be even higher," Ivchenko said.

"What about the families? How about them? Why are they dying? I am now saying what I am. And you need to communicate with them somehow. It is impossible to make a decision to withdraw from certain territories without, say, consensus within the country," Ivchenko said.
