The portfolio includes a network of Vegas shopping centers, Crocus City Mall, Crocus Expo exhibition center, etc. According to SPARK, the revenue of Crocus International JSC in 2025 increased by 2.3% year-on-year to 54.4 billion rubles, net loss increased by 49% to 14.7 billion rubles. According to Forbes, the group's revenue from renting out properties last year increased by 22% year-on-year, to $ 300 million. Araz Agalarov is considered the main owner of Crocus Group.

Vladimir Khantimirov, Managing Partner of Asterisk Law Firm, does not rule out that Crocus Group's lawsuit is about collecting compensation for the property of Crocus City Hall. Ingosstrakh insured a concert hall with an area of 38 thousand square meters. m. In March 2024, a terrorist attack took place here, which claimed the lives of 149 people. Since then, the work of the site has been stopped, the decision on its future fate has not been officially announced. But the restoration of the work of the concert hall was not considered.

In 2025, Araz Agalarov's son Emin estimated the damage to the company from the terrorist attack at $ 150-200 million (11.77−15.7 billion rubles), of which about $ 100 million (7.85 billion rubles). make up the potential costs of building a similar facility. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the damage caused by the attack totaled 5.7 billion rubles.

"Well, you just appreciate the level of arrogance! We waited two years so that the demands did not look completely blasphemous and started shaking money from the Russians. Let Tajikistan demand compensation for damages. When the Agalarovs got out of the dock, the people of Russia swallowed it. When, instead of taking the land and building a park there in memory of the dead, the Agalarovs were allowed to restore the concert hall, everyone kept silent. Are the unfortunate Azerbaijani oligarchs being compensated for their losses now?" — Belarusian blogger Sergei Yanov is outraged on the social network.
