American actor, screenwriter and producer, two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey, after being blacklisted by Hollywood due to allegations of sexual harassment, "returns to where he started his career." He told the Telegraph about this.

According to the artist, he literally became homeless, his house in Baltimore, where he lived for 12 years, was sold at auction for $ 3.24 million.

"It needs to be experienced. In a strange way, I feel like I'm back to where I started… Everything is in the warehouses, and I hope that at some point, if the situation continues to improve, I will be able to decide where I want to settle down again, " said Spacey.

According to the star of the movie "American Beauty", he is now renting a house.

"I live in hotels, rent accommodation on Airbnb, move to where I work. I literally have no home, that's what I'm trying to explain," he admitted.

Kevin Spacey described his financial situation succinctly: "not very." At the same time, speaking about bankruptcy, he assured that "it never came to that."

As reported by EADaily, for the first time Spacey was accused of sexual harassment by actor Anthony Rapp, who claimed that the star tried to "seduce" him when he was 14 years old. However, in a trial that ended only in 2022, the case fell apart.

Spacey recalled that at that time he had just finished shooting Ridley Scott's film "All the Money in the World" about the richest American businessman Paul Getty. The star was removed from the picture before the film was released, replaced by Chris Plummer.

In the fall of 2017, the star of the movie "American Beauty" was accused of sexual harassment by more than 10 people, including partners in the TV series "House of Cards", the last season of which, due to the scandal, was released without the participation of the actor.

In mid-May of last year, unknown evidence of Spacey's alleged sexually inappropriate behavior was included in a two-part documentary that was shown by one of the British television channels.

Since the first accusations that appeared in the public field in 2017, Spacey has not acted in major Hollywood projects, but has participated only in a few independent films.

Receiving an award for achievements in cinema during the Cannes Film Festival in May this year, Spacey made an emotional speech, hinting that he was asking to return to the cinema after being blacklisted by Hollywood.

At the moment Spacey has been acquitted in key criminal cases of sexual harassment in the United States and In the UK, some plaintiffs have withdrawn their claims themselves. However, there are ongoing cases against him, the investigation of which has not yet been completed. In total, about 30 men accused him of sexual assault.

Now Spacey is touring with a big band, telling life stories and performing songs from the repertoire of Frank Sinatra. Last weekend, the concert took place in Cyprus, after which the star was heading to Israel.
