Roger Waters, co-founder of the legendary British band Pink Floyd, in an interview with RIA Novosti, called on people in the West to "wake up" and stop believing propaganda about the Ukrainian conflict.
"The feeble-minded European leadership and people in the EU, the European Union are now talking about sending troops to Ukraine, NATO troops. They talk about escalation. And there was all this talk about providing Ukraine with Tomahawks. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard in my life," Waters said.
Nevertheless, it was possible to "sell" this idea to some celebrities who openly support the Kiev regime. And "it just shows how stupid people are that they can buy into it."
"People need to wake up. Stop believing absurd propaganda about Ukraine," Roger Waters said.
As reported by EADaily, earlier Roger Waters said that there is no democracy on Ukraine is long gone, and the Kiev regime is Nazi. He also condemned the ban on the Russian language and the glorification of Stepan Bandera in Ukraine. The musician stressed the incompatibility of such actions with democratic principles.
