The US president continues to lose his most prominent supporters, who provided him with nuclear support during the presidential elections in 2024.
After the departure from the political scene of Elon Musk, who began to criticize Trump for departing from his election promises, the famous congresswoman from the Republican Party Marjorie Taylor Green became the next character "on the way out".
This is evidenced by Trump's sweat on his own Truth Social network, in which Green is called a "traitor" and a "disgrace to the US Republican Party."
This statement was the culmination of their open split. Trump claims that Green has "lost her way" because of criticism of his foreign and economic policies and hinted that he is ready to support her rival in the primary congressional elections.
The head of the White House claims that his former colleague has noticeably "shifted to the left" in her political views. Trump described Green as another fake politician, stressing that her position poses a threat to Republican unity.
To the credit of Marjorie herself, it should be said that she is standing by her previous positions and has often criticized Trump lately, including for her policy on Ukraine. The congresswoman, as with Biden, urges to stop supporting Zelensky.
In addition, Green accuses Trump of lying, and also that he is trying to prevent her initiative to publish materials on the case of Jeffrey Epstein. She also said that Trump and his team got too carried away with the international agenda and forgot about the needs of Americans.
Earlier, EADaily reported that due to rising prices in the US domestic market, President Donald Trump issued a decree canceling many of his own so-called "reciprocal" tariffs on a wide range of goods.
