The G7 foreign ministers in a joint statement again called for a ceasefire in the Ukrainian conflict.
"We have confirmed that an immediate ceasefire is urgently needed. We agreed that the current line of contact should be the starting point of negotiations," the ministers said in a statement.
In addition, during the meeting in Canada's foreign ministers reaffirmed their support for Ukraine's sovereignty, the statement said.
