In two or three months, Ukraine will have a "weapon of the future." This was stated by the Deputy head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrei Lebedenko.
According to him, we are talking about laser weapons capable of hitting targets better than machine guns.
"Projects related to the weapons of the future are being developed. It already exists today. There are manufacturers and teams both inside and outside the Armed Forces of Ukraine — private enterprises that produce laser weapons," Lebedenko said, quoted by "Время.иа ".
The Deputy head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine claims that today Ukrainian laser weapons can already shoot down FPV drones.
"It is already capable of knocking down FPV today, it is already working on "Shaheds" ("Geraniums", — EADaily). And this is the story of the next two or three months - we will have the same means that will allow us to hit the means of air attack even better than machine guns. This is such a prospect," Lebedenko added.
