All concerts by a Russian artist from Akmal of Turkmenistan (Akmal Khojaniyazov) in Kazakhstan after the incident with the blue-yellow bag at a concert in Petropavlovsk. The artist himself told about this in his telegram channel.
At the concert on October 23, one of the fans presented the artist with a gift in a yellow and blue bag. The artist accepted the present, and returned the package to the fan and noted that he didn't like the colors, so it's better to burn this package. Many residents of Kazakhstan perceived this gesture as disrespect for the national flag, which is an ornament of yellow color on a blue background.
After that, on October 25, a "force majeure" occurred, and the lights were turned off in the Philharmonic building in Kostanay, where the concert was to take place, when the artist had already arrived at the venue. As a result, electricity was not given.
"All residential buildings and commercial facilities are connected to electricity and are operating normally, except for the regional Philharmonic," the local akimat said in a statement.
Then Akmal announced the cancellation of concerts in Pavlodar and Ust-Kamenogorsk for reasons "beyond the control" of the artist's team.
The artist expressed regret over the cancellation of concerts, but added that he hopes to meet with the Kazakh public in the future.
