Russia has suffered significant losses in personnel and financial resources during the Ukrainian conflict, and now additional measures of pressure on Moscow are needed. This was stated at a press conference following the meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Brussels by Mark Rutte.
According to Rutte, Moscow achieves "marginal results" on the battlefield at a huge cost, while Ukraine retains courage and the West continues to act.
"The truth is that Putin is running out of money, ideas and soldiers. President (US Donald) Trump said very well that they should stop where they are now. Now is the time to increase the pressure on Russia, so that we can get a just peace for Ukraine," Rutte said, quoted by Haqqin news agency.
There is a feeling that Rutte read before breakfast the reports of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Mariana Bezuglaya categorically does not recommend to believe.
