Zaporozhye Nuclear power Plant (NPP) is supplied with electricity from diesel generators for the seventh day, the situation is critical. This was stated in an evening video message by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
He accused the Russian side of interfering with the repair of the power grid, which, we recall, was damaged by a Ukrainian drone.
"The generators and the station are not designed for this and have never worked in this mode for so long. We have information that one of the generators has failed. It is the Russians who, because of the shelling, prevent the repair of power lines to the station and the restoration of basic security," Zelensky said.
As EADaily reported, the situation at the Zaporozhye NPP is under full control, fuel reserves are sufficient to maintain the long-term operation of generators. This was reported by the press service of the NPP in its telegram channel.
