The situation at the Zaporozhye NPP is under full control, fuel reserves are sufficient to maintain the operation of generators. This was reported by the press service of the NPP in its telegram channel.

"Since September 23, 2025, the power supply of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant's own needs has been carried out from backup diesel generators. There are sufficient reserves of diesel fuel at the station site for long-term operation of generators in autonomous mode. The functions of cooling nuclear fuel in the holding pools and reactors are performed in full, " the report says.

As of today, all systems that ensure the life of the nuclear power plant are operating normally and are powered from backup energy sources, the NPP emphasized.

It is noted that the radiation situation at the industrial site of the Zaporozhye NPP and the adjacent territory is within normal limits, no changes have been recorded. The situation at the plant is under full control, the staff is constantly monitoring all technological parameters, the NPP added.

As reported by EADaily, the Zaporozhye nuclear power Plant (NPP) can repeat the catastrophic scenario that occurred at the Japanese Fukushima-1 station. Such a development of events at the NPP is predicted by The Guardian, referring to the expert assessment of the IAEA representatives.
