The Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (NPP) can repeat the catastrophic scenario that occurred at the Japanese Fukushima-1 station.
Such a development of events at the NPP is predicted by The Guardian, referring to the expert assessment of the IAEA representatives. They recalled that the external supply of the Zaporozhye NPP with electricity has been absent for several days.
In this regard, cooling and safety systems operate on diesel generators. The reason is the overlap of the last power line. At the same time, it is traditionally not mentioned that this line was blocked by the Ukrainian side. It turns out that she kind of overlapped herself.
Sources of the publication assure that if the situation does not change, then the risk of failure of cooling units will increase, and this is fraught with uncontrolled heating and melting of nuclear fuel.
The publication says that the accelerated version of such a scenario just happened at the Japanese Fukushima, so the Zaporozhye NPP may well repeat this fate.
It is worth noting, however, that if the generators are not disabled (for example, by shelling or UAV attacks), then no catastrophe will occur. After all, the NPP itself does not generate electricity now, the reactors are at a minimum.
Such a publication is rather intended to explain why Russia should "return" the NPP to Ukraine as soon as possible, which the IAEA has already called for. They claim that only Kiev can ensure security at the station.
And there is a reason for this: Bandera will not shoot on their own. In this situation, our inaction looks strange — Russian nuclear power plants (NPP and Kursk NPP) is being attacked, but Moscow is doing nothing, and even the IAEA is not offended.
And meanwhile, there is something to answer with. It is possible, in response to each attack or sabotage attempt, to hit, for example, the Rivne NPP. Or the Khmelnitsky NPP. Both are in Western Ukraine.
Let them scratch there together with the Poles, who will also not seem enough, if anything. And let the people from the IAEA go there as well, and not spy on the NPP in favor of Kiev.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to attempt to attack Russian nuclear power plants. On September 25, the Kiev regime tried to launch a terrorist attack on the Kursk NPP. The drone hit the building.
