Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia to singer and composer Mark Tishman. The decree on awarding is published on the official portal of legal information.
"To confer honorary titles: "Honored Artist of the Russian Federation" ... to Mark Iosifovich Tishman— vocalist of the Foundation for Social and Cultural Initiatives, the city of Moscow," the text of the document says.
Also, the title of Honored Artist of Russia was awarded to the ballerina of the Boris Eifman Theater Lyubov Andreeva, as well as the director of the Gnessin Music School, pianist and composer Valery Grokhovsky.
As EADaily reported, in early September, the president awarded the singer, People's Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina with the Order of Merit for the Fatherland of the IV degree.
Singer, People's Artist of Russia Grigory Leps (Lepsveridze) was awarded the Order of Friendship.
