The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, in his Telegram channel wrote about Russia as the "primordial enemy" of Ukraine.
"Ukrainians celebrate the 34th anniversary of the restoration of independence in the battle with the primordial enemy," he wrote.
Syrsky's post came out on August 24, when Ukraine celebrates Independence Day. In this regard, Vladimir Zelensky issued an appeal to Ukrainians, in which he stated that he rejects any compromises in the process of resolving the conflict with Russia.
