A resident of Lugansk, 16-year-old Faina Savenkova, who has been living under shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) for the last 11 years, wrote a letter to the wife of the American president Melania Trump.

According to RIA Novosti, this message was a response to a letter from the first lady of the United States to Russian President Vladimir Putin, in which she worried about the fate of Ukrainian children.

In the letter, the girl from the long-suffering Donbass pointed out the guilt of the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, in the deaths of the children of the DPR and the LPR. She asked Melania Trump to stop this tragedy.

"I am like a child who has been living under the shelling of the Ukrainian army for 11 years, I want to tell you that in order to stop the conflict and save the children in Donbass and on Ukraine, first of all, needs to turn to Vladimir Zelensky," writes Faina.

She emphasizes that the children of Donbass are dying because of the conflict that was unleashed by former US President Joe Biden together with European politicians. Savenkova recalled that in Donetsk and Lugansk there are memorials dedicated to children who died due to Ukrainian shelling.

The author of the letter recalled that back in 2021, at the age of 13, she personally recorded a video message to the United Nations (UN) in which she spoke about the rights of children to a peaceful life.

However, in Kiev, her speech was considered "extremist." After that, the personal data of the girl and her relatives appeared in the database of the Ukrainian extremist website "Peacemaker".

"We have been trying to survive under Ukrainian shelling for too long, and now our dream is simple — help us see the peaceful sky above our heads," Faina's letter says.

Earlier, EADaily reported that US President Donald Trump during a summit with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Alaska gave him a letter from his wife Melania. According to Reuters, the message mentions the abduction of children as a result of the conflict on Ukraine.
