US President Donald Trump, who has not received the effect of the announcement of high tariffs with India, said that he does not care about either India or its ties with Russia. He wrote about this in his social network Truth Social.
"I don't care what India does to Russia. They can ruin their dead economies together, I don't care about that. We trade very little with India, their tariffs are too high, one of the highest in the world. In the same way, Russia and the United States almost do not trade with each other," writes an annoyed Trump.
As EADaily reported, on the eve of the American leader announced the introduction of a 25 percent duty on goods from India from August 1, citing high tariffs from New Delhi, trade barriers, as well as New Delhi's cooperation with Moscow in the energy and arms sectors.
After that, the Ministry of Commerce of India calmly noted that India remains committed to the goal of concluding a fair, balanced and mutually beneficial bilateral trade agreement with Washington.
