According to local residents, there were shells for MLRS "Grad" in the warehouse. The explosion occurred on July 21, but the authorities do not comment on this information, the Ukrainian media write.

As residents of the village write in social networks, many houses were destroyed by the explosion. The footage posted on the Web shows how ammunition flies in different directions and falls into the yards. The incident is compared to the explosion in Vishnev near Kiev, where five streets on 13 hectares were destroyed due to the detonation of ammunition. However, in the case of Kurilovka, users of social networks note, the authorities keep silent about the situation — no one was held responsible for the explosion in the village.

At the same time, the owner of the site where the explosion occurred allegedly demands that neighbors whose houses burned down not disclose information and threatens eyewitnesses with reprisals.

According to a local resident, the military who arrived at the scene are taking out the remaining ammunition, and no one is helping the injured locals.

"The military has been taking out ammunition for two days and what's left of them is covering up their tracks. Those who write that it's just the APU helping to remove the shells — and how did they get there? It's not just one military man hid two grenades in his yard, these are rocket—propelled grenades for Grads, this is a whole warehouse, hundreds of them flew out," says the author of the video, quoted by Strana.

Recall, after the explosions in Vishnevoye near Kiev, the Ukrainian Armed Forces said they did not place ammunition depots among residential buildings.
