At the Royal Opera House in London, Giuseppe Verdi's opera Troubadour (1813-1901) ended in a brawl, the video of which was scattered on social networks.

At the end of the performance, when the participants of the production took a bow, one of the extras unfurled the Palestinian flag. Then one of the employees of the opera house, jumping out from behind the scenes, tried to take the flag away from the artist. A scuffle ensued, which was won by a protester in a suit with a horned helmet. He stayed on the stage, holding a flag in his hands, not shouting any slogans.

At the same time, from behind the scenes, the theater staff continued to shout something at the artist, he did not pay any attention to the shouts, confidently looking into the auditorium. The rest of the artists on the stage did not react to what happened, pretending that nothing was happening and continuing to bow.

"Just stood there, not bowing or shouting. It's unbelievable," said one of the spectators.

"The manager behind the scene tried to grab him, but he resisted. I bet he won't work there anymore," said another witness to the incident.

The representative of the theater said that this action is unacceptable.

"The display of the flag was an unauthorized act of the artist. It was not approved by the Royal Ballet and Opera and is completely unacceptable, " he told The Guardian.

The representative of the institution did not comment on the artist's further work in the theater.

As reported by EADaily, the legendary rock festival Glastonbury (UK) this year was involved in a scandal over the musicians of the duo Bob Vylan, who shouted calls for the killing of the Israeli army. The shouts were included in the live broadcast of the event, which was hosted by the BBC television channel.
