European countries are openly preparing for war, as evidenced by the upcoming joint nuclear exercises of Germany and France. Russia has been declared the main enemy.

This statement was made by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Grushko, speaking at a meeting of the expert council of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.

According to the TASS news agency, the diplomat stressed that European politicians openly declare such intentions, referring to their public statements.

"The Europeans are preparing for war with Russia. They don't hide it, they say it publicly. I don't remember, but one of the officials, in my opinion, the French Defense minister said: "We must prepare our French sons to fight with Russia," the deputy minister said.

Earlier, EADaily reported that Germany is striving to obtain nuclear weapons. In this regard, Alexander Grushko said that Russia, for its part, will take this into account in its military planning.
