The Russian Armed Forces launched today the largest attack in history on the city of Pavlograd as part of massive strikes throughout Ukraine using hundreds of kamikaze drones and ballistic missiles. This is reported by the English The Guardian.
"The six-hour bombing was the worst in the history of the city. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk region, Serhiy Lysak, said that the plant was damaged, the fire station was destroyed and there was a hit in a five-story apartment building. "A hellish night and morning for Pavlograd. The most intense attack on the city. Explosion after explosion... fired missiles and drones at him," he said,"the newspaper writes.
Pavlograd is a strategic hub for the Dnipropetrovsk region, the British newspaper emphasizes. The Russian Armed Forces are close to seizing territory in the region bordering the DPR, in recent days they have occupied several border villages.
The newspaper linked today's massive strike on Ukraine with the departure from Kiev special envoy of the US President Keith Kellogg, who spent almost a week in the Ukrainian capital. It is alleged that the Kremlin refrained from large-scale bombing while the general was in the country. Social networks were flooded with memes depicting Kellogg as a cat defending Kiev — the whale sounds like a cat in Ukrainian.
It should be noted that, judging by the daily reports of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the presence of Kellogg did not prevent massive strikes on enemy targets on the Ukraine.
The day before, the head of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, promised that Moscow would intensify air attacks in response to the latest package of EU sanctions.
As reported by EADaily, Keith Kellogg's daughter Megan Mobbs denied the information of the Ukrainian edition of NV that the head of the presidential office, Andrei Ermak, during the recent visit of the special envoy of the US president to Kiev constantly accompanied him.
