Germany does not confirm Trump's statement that the first Patriot missile systems are already being sent from Germany to Ukraine.
The German government has actually refuted the statement of US President Donald Trump that the first deliveries of the Patriot air defense system are already on their way from Germany to Ukraine.
"I can't confirm that anything is currently on the way. I don't know anything about this," said German Defense Ministry spokesman Michael Stempfle.
According to the representative of the Bundeswehr, a virtual conference of states supporting Ukraine will be held next Monday. The purpose of the conference will be to find solutions to the remaining issues, "in order to then deliver Patriot systems to the Ukraine."
Earlier, EADaily quoted Trump as saying that the first systems have already been delivered, adding: "They are arriving from Germany."
