The former prima ballerina of the Bavarian State Ballet Priska Zeisel, who is now the prima ballerina of the Mikhailovsky Theater, has received a temporary residence permit in Russia. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk in her telegram channel.
"My colleagues from the migration Department The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region handed over a temporary residence permit to Austrian resident Priska Felicitas Zeisel in Russia," she wrote.
It is specified that, having lived in the cultural capital for a year and a half, the girl realized that she would like to live and work in Russia. At the end of May 2025, she applied to the migration Service of St. Petersburg to obtain a temporary residence permit.
"Now the prima ballerina of the Mikhailovsky Theater Prisca Felicitas Zeisel will be able to live and delight the guests and spectators of the theater for a long time with her incredible performances," Wolf emphasized.
As EADaily reported, Priska Zeisel joined the Bavarian State Ballet in 2016. She quickly went from soloist to first soloist, and in 2019 she became prima. Zeisel danced in almost all new performances. Her last debut on the stage of the Munich theater was the role of Nikiya in the ballet "Bayadere" in the summer of 2023.
However, after performing during the summer holidays at a concert in Sevastopol and negotiating with the theater's management, "she demanded termination of the contract at the beginning of the season." The management of the theater "fulfilled this request."
Commenting on this situation, an indirect participant in the events, the governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, called the scandal with the dismissal of the ballerina "a new round of madness." He expressed confidence that in the near future Priske Zeisel would receive decent job offers from leading theaters in Russia.
In September 2023, Zeisel made her debut on the stage of the Mikhailovsky Theater, she performed the role of Gamzatti in Ludwig Minkus's ballet La Bayadere.
