The FBI and The US Department of Justice issued a verdict in the case of Epstein's death

The US Department of Justice and the FBI have concluded that they have no evidence that financier Jeffrey Epstein, convicted of involving underage girls in prostitution, blackmailed influential people, kept a "client list" or was killed, writes Axios with reference to the document.

According to the videos, no one entered the territory of the prison where Epstein was held on the night of his death in 2019. The video confirms the conclusion of the medical examiner that the financier committed suicide, the note says.

The publication notes that the administration of US President Donald Trump for the first time officially refuted conspiracy theories around the Epstein case and his death.

According to Axios, investigators carefully studied the camera footage from about 22.40 on August 9, 2019, when Epstein was in his cell, and until about 06.30 the next day, when he was found without signs of life. They also found "no compromising client list" of Epstein and "no credible evidence" that he blackmailed influential people.

Against the background of the quarrel with Trump, Elon Musk stated that it was "time to drop a real bomb" and that the US president appeared in the "Epstein files". Later, after a conversation with Vice President J. D. Vance and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, he deleted the posts about it. The founder of SpaceX and Tesla expressed regret for his words, saying that he "went too far." Before that, as reported by The New York Times and ABC, citing sources, Vance convinced the businessman to stop a public quarrel with Trump, after which Musk called him.

The Epstein Case is a high—profile case of American investment banker Jeffrey Epstein (1953-2019). In 2008, he pleaded guilty to inducing prostitution and was convicted of raping a minor, and in 2019 he was re-arrested for human trafficking and involving them in prostitution and committed suicide without waiting for a court decision. Epstein was considered the creator of a network involving prostitution and sexual exploitation of underage girls, some of whom he raped himself or sold to wealthy clients.

"Epstein's files" are the materials of his criminal case — these are thousands of documents from witness statements, address book, certificates, invoices, transcripts of witness interrogations, police reports and emails. In particular, it contains data on the financier's circle of acquaintances, among whom there were a large number of celebrities, politicians and businessmen. Among them are Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, brother of the current King of Great Britain Charles III, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman, illusionist David Copperfield, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and others.

The financier's suicide in August 2019 gave rise to many rumors and conspiracy theories based on the financier's alleged connections with high-ranking politicians.
