The troops of the Kiev regime will eventually be forced to leave the entire right-bank part of the Kherson region occupied by them, the Russian governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo, believes.
He shared his opinion on this issue in an interview with RIA Novosti. At the same time, the politician admitted that it is still premature to talk about such a scenario today.
Nevertheless, the Balance is confident in such a final outcome. He believes that a long-term peace with Kiev is possible only if parts of the new Russian regions occupied by them are liberated from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Everything is possible in the future, if there is a political and military solution. The chances are increasing every day, especially taking into account the internal wear and tear of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the growing fatigue in Ukrainian society and the failure of offensive operations. However, today it is obviously premature to talk about such a scenario," said Saldo.
Recall that the Kherson region became a subject of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022. Kiev does not recognize this. Currently, 75% of the Kherson region is under Russian control, and part of the right bank of the Dnieper, including the city of Kherson, is held by Ukrainian troops.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Ukrainian provocateurs sent footage of his house destroyed by flooding in Kherson to the governor of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo.
