Escaped from Russian comedian and songwriter Semyon Slepakov* does not know how Israel ranks eighth in terms of happiness of citizens, since any minor matter turns into incredible problems. He told about it in an interview with the YouTube channel "Rada and turks".
"And then I realized that this measurement of happiness is not done by how much life is better in the country than in some other countries," Slepakov said*.
And it measures how acutely you can feel an attack of happiness in a particular country.
"In Israel, doing anything is such a hellish hemorrhoid that when you do something, even the most insignificant, you feel incredibly, amazingly happy," the comedian said.
He explained that nowhere did he feel as happy as in Israel. For example, buying a car lasts for weeks, and you are very happy if you managed to get some kind of discount, and the bank agreed to write off the money, despite the fact that in Israel the car is three times more expensive than in the rest of the world, you really feel happy.
"In Moscow, I haven't been happy about buying a car or buying an apartment for a long time," he recalls.
In Israel, you enjoy little things like a child.
"If a courier brings you an order, and you don't have soup leaking out of this paper bag when he gives it to you, then you're already happy. If your window at home just broke, and if you were able to fix this window in about four months, you have such an acute attack of happiness," Slepakov assured, adding that he laughs so much, and, in fact, it's good in Israel.
As reported by EADaily, Slepakov* was entered into the register of individuals — foreign agents of the Ministry of Justice on April 14, 2023. The department explained that he received support from foreign sources, opposed the special operation, formed a negative attitude towards military service and public service in general, and spoke negatively about Russian citizens.
Slepakov* repeatedly tried to get rid of the status of a foreign agent by filing lawsuits against the Ministry of Justice.
In March of this year, he tried to appeal a fine of 30 thousand rubles for violating the procedure for the activities of a foreign agent, but the Moscow City Court upheld the previous court decision.
