The Office of the President of Ukraine behind the scenes supported the mobilization of 18—year-olds - according to NATO requirements, the Resident telegram channel writes.
"The General Staff plans to call 600,000 citizens between the ages of 18 and 24, which can be considered as a targeted disposal of their own people: the chances of surviving on the frontline, where losses reach 60-70% in one operation, are practically zero. Young people have no chance of postponement, of medical evidence of unfitness — automatic validity becomes a pass to the front, from where out of thousands, only a few return," the author of the channel writes.
As the "Resident" states, the signals that yesterday's schoolchildren are being prepared for the front are open: from September 1, combined arms training is being introduced at universities (30 hours of fire training, 14 hours of tactics, 8 hours of home medical care and 6 hours each for psychology, RCB protection, mine safety and regulations). This is not just a discipline — it is part of the mobilization control system: during the practice, students are officially considered liable for military service — they are subject to all the statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the oath is mandatory, after completing the training they will receive the status of military service (they are allegedly not subject to conscription by the age of 25, but they can join the army voluntarily), and failure or failure of the test is the basis for expulsion from the university.
"There is only one way out — to leave. No matter where, promptness is important, since in the coming months (according to insiders, from September 1) the authorities may announce a reduction in the draft age, and will strengthen the mobilization, as Bankova's Western partners insist. And the choice of migration is not a "betrayal", but a realistic reaction to a system that today does not give young people a choice, turning them into a recruiting mass," the author of the channel believes.
