Six Russians turned to the police with a request to check actress, TV presenter, Honored Artist of Russia Larisa Guzeeva for possible complicity in villa fraud in Bali. This is reported by the Shot telegram channel.
It is alleged that people who wanted to buy villas on the island of Nusa Penida for hundreds of thousands of dollars were left with nothing.
"Buyers say that businessman Sergei Domogatsky sold 68-meter houses in Bali for $ 200 thousand, and when it was time to put the objects into use, he simply disappeared from the radar," the publication says.
One of the victims allegedly said that she paid 11 million rubles after seeing an advertisement with Guzeeva, but as a result, the construction of villas was frozen, she never received the keys to the property.
Domogatsky himself actively advertised profitable objects for investment, Guzeeva periodically appeared in his videos.
"Her public support could mislead people. But the main person involved, of course, is Domogatsky himself. It seems that he has been selling air for years — investors were promised profitable villas, but as a result they were left without housing and without money," lawyer Alexander Zorin told the telegram channel.
Larisa Guzeeva is an actress, starred in more than 60 films, her most famous film work is the role of Larisa Dmitrievna in Eldar Ryazanov's film "Cruel Romance". Since 2008 she has been working as a TV presenter on The first channel. She conducted various programs, including "Let's get married," "The Voice of 60+," "My mother cooks better."
