The armed forces of the Russian Federation have taken control of almost the entire territory of the Luhansk People's Republic, which opens up prospects for the liberation of neighboring regions.
Such a change was expressed in a comment to the agency Lenta.ru military expert, captain of the first rank of the reserve Vasily Dandykin.
"Almost the entire territory of the LPR is under our control, the last settlement will be taken soon. There will be an opportunity to go to Krasny Liman, Kharkiv region. This is a very important point. The Russian military is also making great progress in other areas, we are approaching Sumy," the veteran stated.
At the same time, he noted that the troops of the Kiev regime have not had any significant successes in recent months. The enemy suffers defeats and is forced to retreat further and further.
"If there were at least some successes, they would have already shouted about it. But there is no hope there. If we take strikes at the deep rear, then Russia is hitting more powerfully and more accurately there, including last night," the expert concluded.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the Center group of forces liberated the Ulyanovsk settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic as a result of active offensive actions.
