US President Donald Trump welcomed the victory of Karol Nawrocki in the Polish presidential election.
The American leader pathetically wrote in a microblog:
"Trump's ally wins in Poland, shocking the whole of Europe! Congratulations, Poland, you have chosen the winner!"
The head of American diplomacy, Marco Rubio, also commented on Navrotsky's victory.:
"Congratulations to President-elect Karol Navrotsky on his difficult victory. A new chapter begins in Poland. Together we will create the most ambitious alliance in our common history in the field of defense, energy and trade."
Rubio added that he looks forward to "working closely with the President-elect and the Polish government to implement our common priorities."
EADaily clarifies that the new president of Poland should take office on August 6, 2025. In Russia, Navrotsky is wanted for organizing the demolition of dozens of monuments to Soviet soldiers.
