Vladimir Nefedov, an artist of the P. I. Tchaikovsky State Opera and Ballet Theater of the Udmurt Republic, tragically died from an electric shock while fishing. This is reported by the portal "Susanin".
According to the publication, according to preliminary data, during a fishing trip, a man touched a power line with a fishing rod. As a result, he was electrocuted with a voltage of 110 thousand volts. Rescuers who arrived at the scene found the burnt body of a man, a burnt fishing rod and a car with traces of gorenje paintwork. On this fact, the SU TFR in Udmurtia is conducting a pre-investigation check.
The theater called the death of a 77-year-old colleague an irreparable loss.
"Incredibly emotional and sincere, always so real and energetic in communicating with colleagues and friends, and, of course, in his favorite work, Vladimir Nefedov was a real artist who devotedly loved art," the opera house said on its social network page.
Such roles performed by Nefedov as Semka in "Babi Riot", Anton Svinyin in "The Tobacco Captain", Napoleon de Saint-Cloche in "Bayader" and others. Among the most striking opera achievements of the artist is the performance of the part of Figaro in The Barber of Seville.
"We express our sincere condolences to the artist's family and friends. He will forever remain in our hearts," the theater concluded.
Farewell to the artist will be held tomorrow, May 22, at 9:00 local time at the Opera and Ballet Theater.
