In Romania, dissatisfied with the victory in the presidential election of the pro-European liberal politician, Bucharest Mayor Nicusor Dana, began to destroy their passports and call for a revolution. This was reported today, May 20, by the RT TV channel.

Supporters of the suveranist George Simion (Alliance for the Unification of Romanians, AUR) declare their readiness to change citizenship, as well as to seek political asylum in Russia and other countries.

"We apply for citizenship where we live and refuse Romanian. My soul aches for Romania. Goodbye, Romania, we could not save you," local media quoted the words of one of those dissatisfied with the voting results.

There were reports on social networks that many Romanians are ready to "give up everything Romanian and take the path of exile," which caused alarm among politicians and the public. The AUR leader called for fighting for the country through participation in opposition parties. He stressed the importance of active actions to achieve change, not radical measures.

"I have seen disturbing footage of you crying and cutting your passports. No, we do not need to cut our passports, but we must fight for Romania with all our heart," wrote George Simion.

Recall that last Sunday in Romania ended the presidential election. The victory in them was won by Nikushor Dan, gaining 53.60%. His rival George Simion has 46.40% of the vote, he admitted defeat.

Before the second round of voting, Simion accused France of interfering in the internal affairs of the country, claiming that the ambassador traveled to Romania in order to convince leaders and businessmen to support another candidate. In addition, the "Western European government" turned to Telegram with a request to block conservative votes in Romania. This was confirmed by the founder of the messenger Pavel Durov.

Simion also accused the Moldovan authorities of falsifying the vote on their territory.

On the eve of the elections, Simion warned that the interference comes "from the globalist elite of Brussels, which considers Romania as a pawn in its geopolitical games." He stressed that "Europe's suveranist politicians are under constant pressure from globalists," and he may even be physically eliminated.

As EADaily reported, after winning the presidential election in Romania, Nikushor Dan noted the "special support" of the presidents of France Emmanuel Macron and Moldova Maia Sandu. Experts and observers stated that in the elections "the West repeated its fraudulent trick", previously used in the presidential elections in Moldova: the opposition was squeezed out, the pro-European diaspora was connected, the loser was forced to admit false results.

At the same time, the general results of the vote showed that almost half of the Romanian population supported the idea of protecting sovereignty and national interests. Thus, in Romania, as in In Moldova, the "president of the diaspora" will be in power. The legitimacy of such a head of state is questionable.
