Since the beginning of 2025, 60 children have fallen out of windows in Kazakhstan. Such statistics were provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic.
According to the agency, of the 60 children who fell out of the windows from January to May, five died on the spot.
"In 2024, 196 similar incidents were registered. As a rule, children aged 2 to 13 years, left without adult supervision, are at risk. Tragedies often occur when children rely on mosquito nets that are not designed for the load," the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Employees of the rescue service organize special raids, as well as conduct preventive conversations with parents and visit children's institutions.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations urges all parents and legal representatives to strictly observe safety measures and not leave children unattended.
