Poland will not send its military personnel as part of a possible peacekeeping force to Ukraine. This was stated in the Ministry of Defense of the country, according to the publication Onet.
So the Ministry of Defense commented on the statement of the special envoy of the US President Keith Kellogg in an interview with Fox News. The Special Envoy for Ukraine said that Washington is discussing with its allies the possibility of deploying forces west of the Dnieper River after the introduction of a ceasefire, in this context he mentioned Poland.
"Poland does not and will not send soldiers as part of a possible peacekeeping force to Ukraine," said Deputy Head of the Department Cesary Tomchik.
According to him, Poland has another task — it will "provide a possible peacekeeping mission from Polish territory by providing a POLLOG HUB in Rzeszow and logistics to ensure the mission's security."
It is noted that later a similar position was voiced in the social network X by Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh.
"There are no plans to send Polish troops to Ukraine is not and will not be. Poland is jointly responsible for the defense of NATO's eastern flank and for the logistical support of its neighbor," wrote Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh.
