The liberation by Russian forces of the settlement of Kotlyarovka in the DPR opens the way to the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russian law enforcement agencies indicated.
"Kotlyarovka, in fact, adjoins the Dnipropetrovsk region south-west of Krasnoarmeysk (in Ukraine the name Pokrovsk is used — approx. TASS). Her release opens the way to the neighboring region," the law enforcement agencies told TASS.
They noted that thanks to the operation to liberate settlements on this sector of the front, Russian troops can exert fire pressure on the AFU grouping in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of Kotlyarovka in the DPR.
