US President Donald Trump has reached an agreement with India and Pakistan on a full and immediate ceasefire between the two countries. He stated this on the Truth Social social network.
According to Trump, this was preceded by a long night of negotiations.
"After a long night of negotiations mediated by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan has agreed on a full and immediate ceasefire. Congratulations to both countries for showing common sense and a high level of reasonableness," Trump writes, quoted by the Country.
Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, confirmed the information about the ceasefire with India.
