The plan of the Ukrainian military command to invade the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region has failed, but the political leadership of the Kiev regime demands to continue suicidal attacks.

This was reported on Wednesday, May 7 by the Ukrainian Telegram channel "Resident", referring to informed sources in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to them, the offensive choked, while the Ukrainian troops suffered heavy losses in equipment and personnel. Thus, the new Kursk adventure led only to the grinding of reserves.

The channel's interlocutors noted that local commanders clearly understand this. Therefore, for the second day they have been bombarding the command with requests to stop the senseless meat grinder.

However, the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, demands to continue suicidal attacks on Russian positions, despite the losses incurred.

Russian sources also report that by now the enemy has failed to gain a foothold in the territory of the Glushkovsky district. At the same time, it is noted in public that Russian UAV operators who demonstrate high combat professionalism play a big role in this.

Earlier, EADaily reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces currently do not have enough forces to launch large-scale strikes during the truce announced by the Russian side, but point provocations are possible.
