Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's plane made an emergency landing in Azerbaijan, the Serbian Informer portal reports.
Vucic is heading to Moscow to participate in the events of the Victory Day. The plane was unable to continue its journey "due to security threats, including the impact of air defense systems."
"Considering the growing tensions and military operations that are currently underway in In Eastern Europe, the flight to Moscow was deemed unsafe, and the presidential delegation landed in Baku," the publication reports.
The plane of the Serbian president is at Baku airport and is awaiting approval for further flight operations.
