Two attackers on traffic police officers in Makhachkala was liquidated, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan reported.
As EADaily reported, today, on May 5, three policemen were killed in a shootout in Makhachkala. The attackers fled in an official car. The Interception plan has been announced in the republic.
The head of Dagestan, Sergei Meliko, said that the driver of the car opened fire on Interior Ministry officers who tried to stop the car.
"The Interior Ministry tried to stop the car, but the driver did not obey and opened fire on them. There are victims. Law enforcement agencies are working now," the report says.
