The US State Department allowed the possible provision of services to Ukraine for the maintenance of F-16 fighters worth $ 310 million. This was announced on Friday, May 2, by the Pentagon's Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).
"The State Department has decided to approve the possible foreign military sale to the Government of Ukraine of F-16 Training and Sustainment and related equipment at an estimated cost of $ 310 million," the statement said.
It is clarified that DSCA has already notified Congress about this. According to the document, the services of the United States to the Ukrainian side will include: modification and modernization of fighters, training of personnel in the operation of equipment, spare parts, consumables, and so on.
