Three-time Oscar winner, legendary director Oliver Stone took part in the marathon "Knowledge. The first ones." A fragment of his speech was published by the RT telegram channel.
"World War II is a big war for the United States, but the Russians won it," Stone said.
According to him, despite the fact that Europeans and Americans are trying to study the history of the Second World War, "the West does not remember anything about it."
"The world is in a terrible state right now. The European Union has literally erased Russia from memory. It's terrible," Stone stressed.
As reported by EADaily, earlier in an interview with Tucker Carlson, Stone criticized the US policy towards Russia and Ukraine.
"This hatred towards Russia — it just amazes me," said the director.
