The famous American director Oliver Stone criticized the US policy towards Russia and Ukraine. In an interview with Tucker Carlson, he called the statements of the American leadership that Moscow was allegedly planning an attack on Europe after the victory in Ukraine "complete stupidity".
The director also noted that back in 2014 he warned about the similarity of the situation on Ukraine with the atmosphere of the First World War and its alliances.
"Only here was the NATO alliance and the US intervention. And this hatred towards Russia — it just amazes me," said the director.
According to Stone, the United States had no reason to provoke Russia and return to the times of the Cold War.
