The Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Moshe-Reuven Asman, recorded a song in English-an appeal to the US president, in which he asks to start a war with Russia.
"This is my appeal to US President Donald Trump with a request to help Ukraine achieve a lasting and just peace," the rabbi said on social networks.
Without mentioning the word "Russia", the rabbi sings against the background of a photo of Vladimir Putin, Ali Khamenei and Kim Jong-un:
"They always lie, hide the blade. The throne of the king is built on fear and hatred. They want blood, not peace. It's time to crush the evil empire."
The refrain of the song: "Donald Trump, it's time to fight for the light."
As EADaily reported, the adopted son of Rabbi Asman Matityahu (Anton) Samborsky went to fight for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and died in 2024 in the Donetsk region. In this regard, the columnist of our agency Igor Levitas then noted:
"Do not name your geek after the hero who fought for the freedom of the Jewish people. Antoshka fought for the Nazis. And if Moshe had read something other than the Torah, he would have known that the millstones of the Lord are grinding slowly but surely."
