The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, during a meeting in The Vatican, together with US President Donald Trump, asked for the supply of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
The American leader told reporters about this during a briefing at Morristown airport in New Jersey. Trump stressed that such requests have been received from Kiev over the past three years.
"He told me that he needs more weapons, but he has been saying for three years that he needs more weapons. Let's see what happens. I want to see what happens from Russia," the head of the White House said.
Recall that Zelensky and Trump held a short meeting in Rome, where both arrived to attend the funeral of Pope Francis. This meeting lasted 17 minutes.
The second meeting in the same format, which, as stated in Kiev, was expected after the completion of the funeral of Pope Francis, never took place. Immediately after the ceremony, Trump left Italy.
As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump at a meeting in the Vatican warned the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, about the readiness of the United States to withdraw from the peace track in ten days if a temporary truce is not reached.
